Core Mechanical started as a family-run business in 2011 working on heavy industrial piping systems. Early on, Core asked one simple question: What if the true power of model-based construction in the industrial sector was transferred to the residential, commercial and institutional sectors? Zymeworks is a five-storey, 82,000 sq. ft. biopharmaceutical facility that includes 15,000 sq. ft. of advanced lab space. Purpose-built to combine office and laboratory environments, the building supports groundbreaking research and innovation in the life sciences sector and anchors East Vancouver’s growing biotech community.
